Good morning!

I have to admit, I'm enjoying the slower paced mornings! I started my 3 month lay-off yesterday, and although I still have to get up early to get the kids up and going, I get to sleep in an extra 20 minutes. AND? I started a fire in the woodstove already with my extra time. Woo-hoo! Hopefully my gas bill will continue DOWN!

Yesterday was spent grocery shopping and calling for dd's birthday. Today I get serious about cleaning. Ugh. So...

I need to mop. The doggy footprints all over the wood floors are rather embarrassing. Then I'm tackling all of the laundry that is clean but not yet put away.

I need to put all of my papers together in one area to be sorted at a later date, as well.

And this afternoon? Working on the basement. This one is going to be the death of me, but it's got to be done. That's why I'm taking the time off. We need this basement finished, I can't wait!

We have bball games for oldest dd as well as girl scouts tonight for youngest dd. Never a dull moment!

I better get busy, but one more cup of coffee first!
