    Good morning Villagers!

    How's everyone doing today?

I'm feeling much better today after a bout of something yesterday. I think I had touch of the flu or something. Now I'm much better, although still just a little bit achey. I'm going to try to do what I didn't get done yesterday.

    ~Clean the living room
    ~wash our sheets
    ~workout
    ~cook dinner

Not going to be too over zealous....lol. What are you doing today? Gonna be really busy?

~48 yr. old sahw, livin' it up in our empty nest, smack dab in the middle of everywhere.~

    Hello fellow villagers

I have to work again tonight, 2 hours earlier than I have been...so I'm trying not to feel rushed. I have already done 3 loads of laundry, they are currently hanging out to dry. The dishes are done, kitchen is cleaned up, beds made.

I've also emptied my chest freezer so I can defrost it before I go grocery shopping tomorrow. I still need to sweep & vacuum, fold laundry, & finish hanging out the wet laundry before going to work.

Ummm, let's see. Up at six, made Mickie's lunch, gulped down a cup of coffee, let the Chihuahua out, let the Chihuahua in, fed Chihuahua, gathered up trash and put in back of truck, drove Mickie to school in truck with trash, LOL, she hates when I drive her to school in what she calls the "Trash Truck," dropped her off at school, stopped at dumpster and wanted to explore a bit cause you never know what you may find, came on back home cause flooring man was supposed to be here at 8:30, fed and watered the goats, dogs, cats, and started washing clothes, contractor came and I talked to him for a bit, called floor man who never showed and he said he would be here after lunch. I took chicken out of freezer for supper, cleaned the air filter in camper, and now I'm here eating a sandwich and some chips waiting on floor guy and clothes to finish in dryer to fold and washer to load in dryer. Will leave around 2:15 to pick Mickie up from school, come home and meet with cabinet man at 3:30 to adjust a sticking kitchen drawer. Finish clothes, cook supper, eat and clean up and check homework, have devotion, maybe watch a little T.V. and then bed.

    PrairieRose,

Glad to hear you are feeling better. No, don't overdo it! If it is the flu, it has the nasty habit of sometimes coming back at ya. Take it easy.

I was awakened this morning (dozing on the couch with DS at 7am) by a delivery man calling to say they were bringing our new fridge today around 9am. They showed up around 8:30am, so I wasn't quite done emptying the old one out (just non perishables like ketchup, soda, etc left in the old one), but, it didn't take long. Now the new fridge is in place and looks great.... and it has this *strange* thing where it seems to be actually making things COLD. Weird, huh?

My goal for today is to tackle the desk and get rid of a ton of old paperwork before the trash goes out tommorow.

Other than that, I'll do some regular housecleaning, write a letter, and probably spend a few more hours rocking DS... he got shots yesterday and is still running a fever.

    Have a great day, everyone!

Busy so far today, up at 5:45, ran the dogs out, got hubby up and off to work, did the morning chores and move horses around for AM Vet visit, Dr. Mike was on time! (poor guy almost always has emergencies that screw up his schedule) he just came to remove staples from Storms eyelid (she got kicked and had a wicked wound!) then socialized for a while, then into the garden for more tomatoes to put up, then shelled corn and mixed grain, now taking a short lunch break, oh ran the dogs again too.

Wow, that ran on didn't it? LOL

This afternoon freeze tomatos, dishes, fix dinner and maybe a bit of a nap!

Right now, I get home about 9:30. Starting tomorrow it will be 11pm to 1am before I get home And in two weeks, I'll be getting up at 6am (or earlier, depending on how long it takes my girls to get ready) to get the kids off to school on time.

In a better mood today than yesterday. I am always miserable when the kids leave, takes me a full day to adjust.

    So far I have:

-Picked up a high chair and playpen from two Freecyclers for my daycare
    - Taken Paul, our new kitten to the vet for his checkup and shots
    - Finished that baby blanket I have been working on
    - Babysitting this afternoon for two little girls
    - Finished a book I have been reading
    - Cleaned out my fridge
    - Cleaned the kitchen
    - Going to do some baking with the older girl this afternoon
    - Going to go outside and scrub down that highchair with the hose and a brush

    Good afternoon ladies!

I don't believe I have much to do today. I did it all last night after supper. Well, trying to get the kids to clean their room is an all day job so I guess I'll be doing that. I have some recipes to organize too. I guess I'm just hangin' out today. Hope you all have a good one.

Whew, today has been a busy day...which has also made for a fast day. Got up, made the kids breakfast, fed the dogs, made the beds, vacuumed, did 6 loads of laundry, ran the dishwasher and put that all away, did a load of dishes by hand (what wouldn't fit in the dishwasher), ran to Staples, cleaned the kitchen floor and dining room floors, forced oldest son to clean his room and helped the younger 2 with theirs. I still have a HUGE pile of papers to either shred or put away and pay some bills. Thanks goodness it's left over night, I am beat!

Thank you Marshen. I got the living room done and the floors mopped. Drying my extra bed sheets now. I'm pooped and gonna stop for the day, except for dinner which is gonna be easy Crispy Chicken Salad.

Tuesday has been okay so far. I started some more purging -- I want to start a life of voluntary simplicity and to do that, I think I need to start getting rid of some STUFF!!! So I started a box of that tonight. As well I:

    ~ went to work
~ found out where I can get needles for my new record player (broke the darned thing already )
~ cleaned up the livingroom before he went to work
    ~ had some supper
~ gonna relax tonight, get some Pilates done

Another long boring day here in NJ

Worked 7-4, then off to band camp again at 5:00

    Fitted uniforms until 6:30

Took Courtney to McD's for her dinner

Back to band camp for sick child (mine)

Waited til 9 when Ashlee was done.

So this is my life until next Friday...
