What's going on Tuesday, 7/31

Not too much here, woke up to bad thunderstorms. Humidity is high, will be stormy all day here, and hot. Need to vacuum, mop, dust, work on afghan for dd (want to get it done this week). Have a great Tuesday.

This morning I have a 2nd interview for a teaching position I'm interested in. After that I'll probably come home and do a little cleaning & laundry.

Morning all. I couldnt get on the site all day yesterday. Didnt like that.
Today is a cleaning day. Need to run to the Piggly Wiggly for some millk.
Tomorrow is payday so I will write out the bills today too and get them ready.
Other then that not much going on. Have a good day

I have my last class at church this am and pm..it has been a long 12 weeks!!...Then I am taking dgrandsons to K-mart and probably lunch...after that I will be exhasted and need a nap!!

It's a beautiful sunny day here.
Too bad it will be spent cleaning my boys' pigsty -er- bedroom and doing laundry

Not much here either ... just normal things:

~ Put dirty dishes in the dishwasher
~ Walk to the supermarket and pick up veggies/fruit
~ Wipe down counters
~ Windex the mirrors/glass
~ Hang out with DD and play a game of monopoly

Another hot and humid day here in VA. Not much to do other than the normal daily chores. I have already swept and mopped the dining room, swept the kitchen, washed the towels, made the beds, put away the clean dishes, vacuumed and dropped oldest DS off for weight training. I still need to pick up DH's work clothes from the cleaners, pick up DS from weight training, go to WalMart for some needed items, wipe down the bathrooms, wash a load of white clothes and figure out what's for dinner.

Easy day here, I did the bed linens yesterday and cleaned the house , so I am caught up. Got up at 7am and had a chicken dish going on low in the crockpot by 9am.

Have been reading a book, I hope to sit down with for most of the day.

Beautiful and sunny! Not as humid.

Humid and overcast here- good ole summer time.So far:
*Tennis with a friend
*Made bed and straightened bedroom
*Swept front porch, watered plants there
*Swept terrace, watered plants
*Ran dustmop around living room, parlor, office.
*Swept and mopped kitchen
Still to do:
*Grocery store and pick up a gift for sister
*Get a bid for house powerwashing
*Supper
*Swimming

Beautiful, beautiful rainy day! I love rain. I spent all day yesterday on really serious declutter and reorganization of all storage. Continuing today until I leave for work around 3:30. Off again tomorrow, so I hope to be in a pristine, totally organized clutter free apartment by Wednesday night.

Just checked the bank account on line -- paycheck bigger than I hoped. I added a voluntary contribution to the mandatory one for my 403b in July, and since it's pretax, just had to wait to see what the take home would be after taxes were adjusted. It went to start plumping up a savings account I had tapped last month.

Bigger paycheck than expected, rain, savings deposit. What a wonderful day!

Not much going on here today. I have a load of laundry to do while waiting on my professor to email me about my practice final I took yesterday. I think I missed 2, but want to go over those with him before I take the final test.

I need to go get some gas for the lawnmower. DS#2 said he would mow today. :-)

Ds spent the night off so it is just DD and I. Friday is DS's birthday and he is having four or five friends over for the night and I need to get the house ready.

Today we've got to.....
...go pay the re-enrollment fee to our homeschool cover cover school
...do lots of party preps - straighten up the extra living room making it more kid friendly (move some of the video game systems in there)
...go buy DS's mini-fridge. His bedroom (or as he call is The Man Cave) is set up so that he has his bed and dresser are in one half of the room and his recliner, TV, and video game systems in the other. There is the perfect spot for a mini-fridge in the TV half of his room so I am going to get him one for his birthday. (before 3:00)
...buy some drinks and snacks to stock up his fridge. (before 3:00)
...Pick up DS from his friend's house (3:00)
...cook some dinner (have it ready by 4:00)
...take both kids to batting practice(4:30)
...take DS to football practice (5:30-8:00)
...get home from football just in time to see Big Brother (8:00).

I also needed to go to Sam's but that will have to wait until tomorrow.

*Landlord is coming over to fix the sink
*last load of laundy is in the washer
*hanging the laundry outside
*doors & windows open
*bathroom scoured
*kitchen's cleaned
*studied for tonights meeting
*done daily reading
*took meds
*fed kitty
*straightened up my dresser, got everything in one bag
*dusted
*washed bathroom rugs
*planned dinner
*finish shopping list for tomorrows delivery
*need to write a note to a friend
*deposit check
*pay rent since landlord will be here today
*make list for saturdays shopping trip
*file more coupons that came in
*listen to meeting

Same ol', same ol' for me...work, then home to cook supper and do some cleaning. Need to put a few things on craigslist still. I'll be GLAD when that sorting/selling project is OVER with!!
