Default Did better than we thought!

We decided to be more aware of our electric usage and see if we couldn't cut it down a bit, my conservative goal was to go from 836 kwh to 800 this past month.

We did better than that, we only used 634 kwh!

Whether this is due to spring finally being here or day light savings or our working at it, we have no idea. I'll know better after a few more months.

    But I'm psyched!

That is great. I try to make my DFamily be aware and keep the lights off when they leave a room, don't leave your television running, turn the computer off when not using it. Things like that add up.

In answer to a question above, we both started turning off the light when we left a room, turned off at least the computer monitor if getting up from the computer, used the microwave and crockpot for cooking, and starting hanging laundry outside to dry, if I could.

But, as I said, it's gotten warmer here, but not unpleasantly so, yet, and daylight savings has started, which has reduced our need for night-time lighting.

What part of this is related to our actions, the weather, or the time change, we don't know!

    Thanks everyone for the encouragement!
