Default I hate our utility company!

There I got that out. Our electric, water and sewer are on one bill. I was really expecting it to go down about $100 this month cause there were a few days that my a/c didn't run all day. Boy was I wrong! It we UP $100! Granted our a/c is old and really needs to be replaced, so it sucks a ton of electricity. I can't figure our how they figure out bill. We have the highest rates in OK I think. Don't have the bill with me or I could tell you how bad they suck. I can't handle a $642 utility bill. I just want to cry every time I think about it. So much for going to watch my girls march at the state fair and eating this month.

Darn, that stinks. That is a whopper of a bill. I hope the next is better.

Does your utility company offer any kind of budget billing?
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.

Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

My heart goes out to you. Our electric went up drastically here and I dread to get my electric bill which also includes water and sewer.

They do, but I've heard horror stories from others that have been on it that have had thier accounts messed up horribly. So I just pay it as it comes. Hopefully next year when we get a new a/c it will be better.

Can you install a whole house fan? We've barely had to use the AC this year. Last year we ran it constantly, and our bills this year are less than 1/2 of last year's for the same time period.

Of course that doesn't help you now, but maybe for next year?
