Since I last posted on my thread I now pay $34 for cable. A couple months ago the cable company demanded that everyone get a cable box. Unsurprisingly with the cable box fewer channels that I liked were given. So I ended up going with a higher service. Yes I actually do like it more since there are many more options. Know I could pay for something like hulu plus but right now I will go with this rate.

If I need to cut back I know what options I have.

I realize I can go with a whole package of options with one company but there is something that tells me this is not the way to go especially in an emergency. I would rather more options to receive information that just one source (company). Especially since I have a tracfone and not a phone with a bunch of apps.
