If you have a Weil-McLain furnace, check this out!

We have the 'gold' furnace, installed in '99. When we just had an oil company service it for the upcoming winter, he told us about a program the company is offering- if you have a certain 'burner' on it, you can call the company, they will send you a NEW burner FREE. These particular burner models they no longer make parts for so the company is replacing them, not even shipping charges, you simply must pay to have it installed by the oil/furnace company of your choice. It's a $800 burner, FREE besides installation (which I am guessing will cost $100-200). You simply need to call and complain you are having trouble with the old burner and it has to be 'mickey Moused' to work now (if that's true for you, apparently it's enough of an issue all around they're offering these free burners, we had such issues last year).

Our furnace # is PWTGO-3, the # on the burner is R8184G 4009.
If you have a 'gold' model from this company, and believe it was manuffactured around when ours was ('98 or '99) it might be worth a call to check out, even if your #s don't match ours exactly. A 5 minute call might save you $800! we called about ours Friday it arrived Monday!
