Wink this could be not a good thing

We have lived in this house over a year. This is our second summer here. We just discovered our furnace has a "cool" option. It's not a/c, but it blows cool air (I assume from the basement?) and helps to bring down the temp in the house. It doesn't do anything for humidity, but it sure was nice last night when I came home from class & the house was 83*
We turned the cool on & set it on 80* and slept like babies all night. I don't think we'll be using it all the time, but it could be addictive lol. At least it doesn't use gas, just electricity.

Stay cool Yankeemom, past few days have been brutal heat & humidity wise. Did you get the storms yesterday? They were not too bad here, seems like they were all around us though.

    Enjoy the "cool" air.

It sure is nice to have that option.

We missed out on all the rain dangit. I didn't hang out laundry because all day long it looked like it was going to downpour any second. *sigh*
Now there's an open fire ban (second one this year) in the next county over. I'm sure our county will be next.
