Nice Surprise!
So, PSE$G, our gas company, recently switched all meters to digital so they can read it from their truck in the street and not have to come in. Very nice, since they were always estimating our bill since we're always at work when they come.
Back in May, I happened to be home when they came and they got an actual reading and we wound up with a 200 something dollar credit, so we haven't had to pay all summer. (They totally overestimated our usage.)
Our first actual reading since then came yesterday. (We had just used our credit up last month and were going to have to pay this month.) $231.48 in credit!!! Another few months without paying!

We have had this for a couple of years now for our electric bill and it is great! Oh, I used to get estimated bills all the time and it would just drive me crazy! Your going to love it!

We had the same issue, we still have a few $100 in credit with them, it actually is helping me feel better knowing they owe us with everything going up for thye winter.
