Fireplace Cooking
I just read an interesting article re: fireplace cooking on Backwoods Home Magazines site and just wondered if anyone has ever tried this and if so, can you give any tips. It could come in handy this winter and could be an adventure for kids to witness their parents doing on family night.

I haven't done this either Stacey. And like you I'm eager to hear from anyone who has done it.
I'm also curious about woodstove cooking. While I've cooked an occasional pot of beans on the woodstove, I'm sure there are other things that can be prepared on a woodstove. Has anyone done this?~~Jean~~

I haven't cooked like that but I have fond memories when I was growing up of my sister and I being shown how to make toast on a long handled fork at our open fire in the living room.
