Default What's the temperature inside your house this morning?

The temp is 47 outside and inside it's about 65. I find that my comfort zone gets thin at about 63, I start thinking "I'm gonna turn the HEAT on!" at that point. Where do you give in?

Outside temp is 58 inside it is 70 right now ,was around 68 when i got up at 5:30 this morning. I don't have the heat on yet and plan on keeping it off as long as I can. I think if it goes below 65 inside dh will turn on the heat.

Outside it's 53, inside--70 in kitchen, 65 in living room. About 62 or 63 it starts to feel chilly. I'm trying to hold out for 60 before I turn it on. Dh wimps out about 65.

Right now it is 58 outside and about 70 in the office I'm working in.

At home, we use our furnace as back up to our wood heat, and I keep the thermostat set at about 60 or 62 to come on only when it is really cold out or the fire has gone out. Right now we are using electric space heaters to just take the chill off, but it hasn't gotten chilly enough for a wood fire yet.

The kids were very wimpish this morning about their comfort, but they were also in very few clothes. Motherly advice to dress warmer does no good......................

In the winter, our floors get so cold that it seems to make me feel colder than I would be otherwise.

Outside temp is nearing 90 if it's not there already. A/c is set on 78* (digital thermostat so it actually cuts on when it reads 80*).

Not sure of when I first got up because I awoke to a nice toasty fire Jack started in the livingroom fireplace.
Right now the fire has died down & it's 56º out & 70º in.

It was 62 in our house when I got up this morning. I usually give in around this temperature, and I do have the heat set for 68º now.

The temperature outside this morning was 51 and in the house it was 68. I haven't turned the heat on at all yet and am going to try not to, for a while anyway. We ordered a coal stove so I am hoping to keep the heating bills low this year.

If the temp falls down to 65 degrees, that's when I turn the heat on. Sometimes, I just turn it up for awhile, just to warm up the house. Right now, I have the heat set at 65 degrees.

It's a little chilly, but we're sucking it up and dealing with it. No way am I paying $400/month gas/electric bills starting in October!
