    Unhappy we lost heat today

so i called hubby, he had me check the breakers( duh) i already had, he had me check the pilot light, not it. it is cold here so to keep warm until he could drive home( off the clock, no milage) i baked some peanut butter cookies, and started dinner . of course he gets here and it is the breaker, but while here he gets a call and he has to go to an apartment complex in town, now he is back on the clock and will get paid for being down here!
he also brought home a box of apples, a lady he works with got them from a friend, neither of them wanted them so he took them!

We had lots of problems with our furnace last year - usually when DH was away. I remember going to bed knowing there would be no heat for the night and just making huge piles on top of the kids. Not a "warm" and fuzzy feeling.

Glad it was fixed. We went through that last year and it was awful having a tiny baby and it being freezing. We had to go out and buy portable heaters until it was fixed.

We just lost our heat recently, so I know how you felt without it. Glad it all worked out and to your advantage too
