Which Humidifier do you use?

I've been reading different sections of this site for a couple of weeks and have a question for everyone. My humidifier is/was 8 years old and has died, we've used a Bemis H12 due to the dryness form our pellet stove and are wondering what everyone else uses before we go shopping for a new one. We liked how it worked but didn't care for paying the $40 each year for new filters. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated, thank you!

I use a kenmore (off hand, I don't know the model#). It is perfect for my small house. Keeps the winter static at bay, the air moist, and my skin softer. I do need to fill it daily. I keep it in the kitchen to make this easier.
