Default I think this is good...

Our last month's utility bill (gas & electric combined) Was $189. $100 for the electricity (including $18 in taxes & delivery charges)and $89 for the gas (including $35 in taxes & delivery charges).

It also gives us a comparison, for this billing period last year we used 2.2 Therms. This year, we used 1.4 therms (natural gas). The electrcity, last year was 25.3 KWH and this year is 24.8 KWH

I didn't mention that we have a 3 story, 3000+ sqft house. The third story is not heated, but we still lose quite a bit of heat from there.
I've recently changed the program to have it at 59* from 11pm to 5am, then back up to 62* from 5am to 8am (when everyone is up & getting showers) and 59* from 8am to 6pm, 62* from 6pm to 11pm. It was set at 59* from 8am to 10pm, then 62* from 10pm t0 8am. But i just hated the thought of sleeping for those hours with the heat turned up (just because dh doesn't like it cold when he takes his shower at 5:15am) when I could just as easily just set another setting on the program.

    It's working
