    Default The heater repairman came

And it seems we have a bad gas valve. Of course, like DH said, at least it wasn't some electronic part which always seems to cost more. And they didn't have the part, so they have to come back this afternoon after they get it. It will be so nice to have heat upstairs again!

Keep your fingers crossed that this won't be very expensive!

Of course it is never simple! He got the part quicker than he thought so he already came back. But, of course once he fixed this problem, something else reared it's ugly head! He said we can run it and see if it will work without replacing the other part. But, he said it sounds bad.

SO if this part goes we are talking another $200-$300 for the part plus 1.5 hours of labor! The simple part and installation cost me $316! Ugh.
