    Question Do you use a calling card

    No we don't have one. Next time we travel though I plan on getting one.

    2012 Goals
    Use the vegetables from my garden and learn to preserve.
    Cut down on all unnecessary things.
    Free is best.
    Get the garage completely cleaned out. Half done-Until BIL and SIL stored their stuff--now back to square 1.
    Make the yards nice-weed, mow, plant, flowerbeds,etc.
    Stay home more/eat out less if at all.
    FIND A NEW JOB!!!

    Had them when we lived places with out LD. Still use them to call if I'm at work and don't want to waste my anytime air minutes.

    We also had it to call people from while at the hospital with Paige. Its about empty but when we travel I like to have it in case we don't have a signal or the battery isn't charged so we can use it at a pay phone.

    Dh has one. He's a truck driver and doesn't have a cell phone with him so he uses the calling card if he needs to get a hold of me while he's on the road.

    I use one about 90% of the time. It is less than 4 cents a minute. Very worth it for all the time I talk to my sister on the phone

    I certainly do use one...and it is just 3 cents per minute...I keep only basic telephone service ...zero frills...my phone bill is 25.00...anyway I find this is the way to go!!!Katy

    It is way too expensive to talk to her without one.

    And I live in a county where we have our own little phone company, and long distance charges are ridiculous. Rather than looking at all the plangs and what not, I just buy a card from BJ's that is 2.8 cents a minute.
