Woo-hoo on the electric bill
Wow went from 134.00 last month, to 93.00 this month. I'v been really careful and washing in cold water and trying to hang some clothes to dry. I was expecting a little drop, but this was a great surprise.

The good the bad, and taxes
With my great news on the electric bill, I came home to bad news in the mail. I thought I was getting $94.00 back from state taxes and I must have mad a mistake and they say I owe them $86.00.

Minor pump in the road, not letting it get to me...It's a beautiful day!

Electric bill
Aaw Suzysaver,
Doesn't it sometimes feel that you are taking two steps back and only one step forward when that happens! How disappointing for you. Perhaps you will get some good news in the next few weeks in some other area to cheer you up, a little wave of the wand for you
I have over spent the budget this week so next week its gonna be living off the store cupboard and the freezer for me. Guess you will doing something similar.

A little frustrating
I hope your little magic wand works, funny I always expect things in groups of three. I'm kind of waiting for the other shoe to drop!

It should all even out in the end, it usual does for me.

I called our local light company and asked them when was the lowest light rates and I found out that the price per unit went down after 9 pm. So my family and I started to do the laundry after 9. I started it and my daughter or sons always put into the dryer which was around 10 pm (which they are night owls) it was all dried when I got up in the morning. We only do one load a night. I found that I dropped our light bill about 10.00 by doing this.
