ARGH!!!
well on the hot water heater thread i mentioned that things always happend in 3's for us. well not this time, everything just waited to pile up on us all at once. not long after we got our hot water heater fixed, my husband had a fishing tournament. he went to cast, and his reel fell apart and sunk to the bottom of the lake. this is not a cheap reel either. then we went to a friends for easter. it was hot so i took off my watch and put it in my purse. when we went to leave, it fell out and hit the floor and shattered. and just yesterday alone, my husband was going to do some yard work but the lawn mower was vibrating so bad, he could barely use it. so he got out the weed eater, used it for a little bit and it quit working. so he came into the house to gripe only to find me griping about my vac. i have one of those rainbow vacs where you pull the trigger to make it suck, well it quit sucking. i had to take the rotating attachment off and put the hardwood floor attachment on just to sweep my carpets. i was almost afraid to go get my kid at school cuz i was afraid my car would break down on me.
why does this happen?? ok im done ranting now.

Sorry your having a bad day also. Maybe the vac is clogged, I have a bagless one and one day it wouldn't suck up. I tried everything. THen it got hot and shut itself off, so I had to wait the 30minutes. But during that time I got a screwdriver and a coat hanger to reach up in the tube itself and low and behold all the stuff that came out. When I tried it later it did just fine.
The Dvd player you might be able to take back if you have a receipt.
I hope your day gets better.Maggi

well i have called bass pro and they are sending us a replacement. i have called the vacuum repair shop and its a spring in the trigger, that'll cost me 12dollars to fix. i shipped coops dvd player off today and that cost me 31 dollars for shipping and repair costs. and now i just got off the phone with the cell phone people ordering a replacement phone for my husband because during yet another fishing tournament, he dropped his phone to the bottom of the lake. i swear if one more thing goes wrong, im going to scream.

Sounds like your husband needs some Velcro attachments for his fishing tournaments!!
I just had about three weeks of really horrible, sucky things happening. Day after day of "OMG, is this ever going to end?" Sometimes, you just have to grit your teeth and hang on. Things DO take a turn for the better eventually! I started seeing sunshine again (figuratively and literally) last week. It will meander its way over to you soon!DH aka Mad Hen

i guess the month of april just wasn't a good time for me. i bought a new ice box the other day ( i was tired of buying ice, so i bought one with an ice maker. yay! no more store bought ice for me!) and the store was suppose to deliver it for me. so we sat around and waited and waited and they never showed up. so i finally called and they told me they were just too busy to get here theyd have to do it another day. did they bother to call me and let me know? no, of course not. well i had also bought the weenies some chew bones so i was going down the steps to feed them, and i fell down the stairs. im all banged up and bruised and sore. i finally went to bed cuz i couldn't stand any more bad luck. woke up at 3 that morning having an allergic reaction to something. my nose completly stopped up, i started hyperventilating and breaking out in whelps and went into hypothermia. super ending to a perfect day. well the next day my son had a birthday party to go to, what kind of trouble could i get into at a kids party? i got hit in the head with a dang football. i threw my hands in the air and told my hubby i was going home. im not going to do ANYTHING today, cuz who knows what might happen this time.

Aww halloweenfreak - just hang in there, the worst is all happening now. It can only go up from there. I know I was in your place for 3 months straight

Take this opportunity to get things fixed as need be and tell hubby no more fishing tourneys unless he promises to leave all in the car cept the fishing gear (and he has to replace things lost to the bottom of the now RICH lake from his own allowance, no more taking $ from family budget for that if did?). If you cant do a hobby responsibly, maybe its time to take a break!
As for you my dear girl, if you can afford, spend a day/wknd at home. Watching all the tv/dvd's/videos you want. Read, have a cup of tea and just relax. (Still be mommy of course but just lay low)
This CLOUD over your head will soon pass.
