Default HAPPY DANCE on the Gas AND the Electric bills!

WOWOOHOO! We did it here! Turning off the barn water heaters and the furnace cut our electric bills in half!

And with the furnace off and last months gas bill being estimated a bit high the Gas bill went from $304.00 last month to $25.00 for MAY!!! WOOOHOOO!!

The electric should stay that low from now until Oct, and the gas will be really low until the furnace is turned back on as the only gas used this time of the year is the hot water heater!

Now to use that money for the mortgage and to put back for taxes and insurance!!

Way to go! My husband turned off the heat in our house about a week ago....my 20 yr old DD commented "I hate this time of year!" (because the house is a little colder...I told her "that's funny I LOVE IT!" Can't wait for that bill to come in so I can see what we are saving.
