I got my June bill last week. We only had the air on 3 days and it was $100. We did have to pool filter going though. I was disapointed. I thought since we had had it (the air) on so little it would have been lower. It is however July 9, and I think we have had our air on maybe a total of a week all summer. I hope this holds out!!!

Mine was 103, and we have been running our air. Luckily I still have a little credit left since I am on the average pay plan.

Mine was outrageous! BUT we have had the a/c on for over a month, so I knew it would be high, just not that high. It was $310 and I know the boys leaving everything on when they leave the room didn't help. I hope we will nip that in the bud this month.

311.35 here! The AC has been running all the time. DH cannot take the heat at all. The pool filter is running and the basement had flooded so we were running fans and the dehumidifier for days to dry it out. It's one of those things I know I have to deal with in the summer. So I try to cut cost in other places.

180.00 for me this month. A/c is on but set at 74 or 75. We are running ceiling fans to help cool off. BUT..the water pump is electric, the hot tub is electric and we have 2 fridges and 2 big freezers running. Still...we need to turn stuff off more and I need to hang on the line more. Jeez.....

I am on the all year the same plan also, however I have been very careful with the electricity I use and with my DH deployed it is a lot easier to be frugal. Mine used to be $99/month, but it just readjusted to $84/month. We live in a two story bungalow with a basement. The weather here has been just enough to not need the air on but for a few days.

For this past month we used 935 kwh for a total of $91.23. We have been running the central air most of the month as well as the dehumidifier in the basement.

Ours are way down in the summer but we don't have AC and have the heaters turned off to the waterers in the barns. I also turned off the second deep freeze.

The barn bills are usually 68-75 in the winter and are around 22 right now, the house is around 85-90 in the winter and was 44 last month.

We don't have our bill yet and we just move in a month ago to our new (yet very old) home.

I have yet to turn the water heater down to 120 degrees and we still have about half our lightbulbs to replace into compact flourencents. The good news in that the south side of our home is covered with trees so no a/c needed!! It doesn't go over 80 in the home...yay! We do have cieling fans in every room except the kitchen though.

    Wish us luck!

Mine is $79....cheaper than last summer.
We paid average of $150 last summer (but thanks to this site, I've learn to save on electric bill)

The AC is only on for about 2 to 3 hours in the evening when it's very hot. Otherwise, FAN is on so it keeps the house around 79 to 80 degrees all day.

Hang-dry my clothes now, instead of using dryer (keeps house cooler and saves $$$)

Also, turns off everything that's not in use.
