One Switch From the Stone Age...
We rely on electricity so much and our kids have no idea what to do with themselves if the power goes out!
One switch from the stone Age...
I'm always on the look out for items that can be manually operated, just in case, so our household can still function if the power goes off!

One time when the electric went out due to storms, it was out for about three hours, when it came on dd said "Let's turn everything off and pretend that the electric is out!" I guess she was having too much fun playing cards and games!

We had a power outage for 3 days a few weeks ago, we luckily have a generator but HAVE to have it for water to the barns and freezer/fridge. We didn't really use anything else to save on fuel.
It WAS fun to watch the neighbors tho, they're VERY spoiled and just couldn't handle it, lol, usually they have their place lit up like a circus.
