Electricity Rate Hikes Illinois, Missouri Area

I live in IL and heard about this a few weeks ago. I am not thrilled. ComEd is saying that the average customer will be paying about $13 more a month. If they increase the rates I have a feeling it will be much more than that though.

I don't know what it is about the utilitycompanies always raising rates, although I know about supply and demand, but it gets to a point where they are literally leaching blood from the customers and that isn't good.
