    Default Electric Bill

I got my electric bill and is was $52.34. Not bad! I had the dehumidifer off all month but have been using my electric dryer all month. I have been real lazy about hanging the clothes in the basement.

Mine was $30-something last month. I'm sure it'll be higher this month with all the Christmas lights, etc

Mine was $54 which isn't bad, last month it was $52 but that's ok that it went up $2, I mean I did turn on the electric Econo Heat heaters so going up $2 fo the month isn't bad at all and we were kept warm.

Just Joy - That is amazing! I wish I could get my bill that low!!!!!!!

Wow Tracy - That is great especially since you are using those heaters!

Petite Four - I switched over to CF lightbulbs and that made a difference in my bill. The only other thing I do is I unplug items that I can reach that I dont use all the time (like the microwave). I have oil heat also and have it on for some time now so I am sure I am using some electric for that as well. Dont knock yourself a 40 something bill is really really great!

Our electric & gas combined was $159 for last month. We are on the budget plan so we pay $271. We still have a credit too.

Not bad for a huge, 3 story, 125yr old house (with original windows I might add lol).

Our house was built in the 40s, is drafty, and combined gas and electric this month came to 180! YIKES! !!!!!!

Luckily, the water bill came down by about 20$.

Our most recent bill was $37.90, not bad for a 2,000 square foot home. In the summer it was $130 something one month (the highest one I had ever seen!) for using the air conditioning and rates going up in my area - so I'm liking the most recent bills! Of course it will go up again when we use the heat more.

Ours was $118 but our hydro bill also includes our water bill...it all comes on one bill. We did use an average of 22kw per day down from 26kw per day last year!

Mine was around $41 for last month, paid $57 on equalized payment plan. November was a weird month here -- had to use air conditioning, then heating, then back to air conditioning .... we've have some pretty extreme swings. I've been using the dryer too, a concession to chemo fatigue. Sigh. After the end of the year, I'll have to find another excuse... This month (mid-Nov to mid-Dec) may be better. I can take the cold, but not the heat!

So why am I living in Lousiana?

Ugggg! $93.00 last month, I used the dryer way too much and the heater was a chugging away...time to tighten the usage. I was expecting it to jump up some, but hopefully I can keep it under $100 for next month. Power company raising rates again over the next few months.....good grief !!

Our electricity is SOOO expensive here. Our bill for Nov-Dec. was $150 and our gas was $30. We live in a full concrete building with no insulation and old drafty windows & doors (and no, we don't have the liberty to fix them, we rent and we don't want to put money into someone else's building). And right now the only room that we actually keep heated is the living room. I turn the oven on in the kitchen (gas) to keep that heated when I need to work in there, but brrrr..

I'm glad we planned for a very high bill for the next few months. We don't really have many other expenses besides food and household bills.
