Electric Bill for Dec. along with a rant!
Our electric for Dec. was $117! Up $30, due to FIL bringing his laundry over, 4 loads a week, he uses warm water and the dryer!
I told him to go to a laundermat from now on. Also, our landlord, she brings her laundry over and washes it in the morning while she is getting dd on the bus, that I can't complain about because it saves me taking her to the babysitter in the AM. I've also been lazy about hanging my clothes, because I'm just so exhausted in the evening, etc. from the radiation. Going to work on doing better with that!

Oh honey, just take care of yourself! Sometimes you have to exchange time and health for money. It's okay. It won't really matter in the long run if you push yourself and are sicker for it.
Take it from someone who knows (due to health). I wish you well.

don't begrudge yourself the dryer while you're going through radiation. It's a small price to pay for a little bit of rest. .....and that's not lazy...it exhausted..different imho.
What if your FIL simply gave you the 30$ a month to do his laundry to cover costs? Make it 35$ to cover soap and wear and tear.

Mine was up to $195, up about $30 as well and I was angry because I barely us the dryer, am diligent about not using lights, etc. BUT at the beginning of last month we had "flooding" and had to use 2 pumps to keep the water from flooding the basement. So, I guess that is why. I hope they use alot of electricity because I don't want all my efforts to not show results!! I guess I'll see next bill.

I think your FIL would understand if it's affecting you guys in regards to $$ - He may be perfectly willing to give you $ in exchange for doing his laundry there - just ask him
I'm sure your family's company is also a reason he prefers to do his laundry there instead of a laundrymat -
