WTG!!
Our bill was about $258 this month (we have a VERY large, VERY old house). But our budget plan has us paying $275. The nice thing is we are about halfway through the heating season and we still have a balance in our favor of about $200 and it will go up another $27 this month

I won't get my Jan usuage bill until about 1/28/07, which should cover 12/22- 1/21. I was suprised that my Dec bill was 59.03, until I remembered that my Christmas lights were plentiful enough to blind pilots flying at 30,000 feet

I don't sign up for the levelized billing because I like to actually fork out the real amount I use each month. Makes me remember to turn off the lights and unplug stuff
On a side note, I have cut my elec bill by almost half the amount of last year. CFLs, and being very conservative really pays off.

Awesome job everyone. We're on the level payment plan, and we've gotten it down to $82 a month from the $99 a month we were paying last summer before I discovered FV!

Our power company called it "budget billing" - I assume it is the same concept as your level billing. Our house is total electric and we pay $251 a month.
On a side note, I got a nice surprise today though. Last month when I was out of town my mom got all of my mail and paid my power bill for me. She did no tell me anything about it. I was talking to her telling her I had not gotten my bill but that was ok since the amount and due date don't change so I will just go pay it this week. She finally tells me she paid it for me. I offered it back to her but she said no - just concider it an extra Christmas gift. The money I was going to pay power bill with is going to our savings account.DD (19)

Our bill was $187.65 and we are on the budget plan. Unfortunately, it went up $80 a month because in the winter of 2005/2006 we didn't use our woodstoves and used mostly electric. This winter we've been really good and been using our woodstoves so hopefully next year it will go down again. I really like the budget plan because I know exactly what I'm paying every month and it makes it easy for me to budget and there are no surprise bills.

Our electric bill went up from $91.83 to $103.
I try SO hard. We don't even own a dryer!!
Well, now I'll start the challenge with myself to reduce the bill for next month!
