    Smile DD's Electric Bill Game

    When it is dark out and we are driving in the car my DD will look at a house and give it an A+, C or F based on how many lights they have on. With the houses who get a score of F she says they do not know how to be frugal and they are wasting their money. If they get an A she says very good, very good and we laugh. It was really funny when last night one of the houses we went by did not have any lights on and clearly was a deserted shanty and she gave it an A++++++++++++++++. She and I laughed so hard because that house hadn't received an A for "anything" in a long time.( She is only 10 but she is wise beyond her years, too wise.)

    That's really cute. I think it's great when the kids start to say things and you realize they have been listening, but also learning. How old is she?
    My DD loves to go to thrift stores and yard sales. She knows she can get more bang for her buck there.
