Three months ago 250.xx, two months ago 205.xx, a month ago 176.xx and this months bill 164.xx........I am so happy that it is finally coming down. I can go in until June 1st and get on their "even pay" program where I pay an average every month and it should not be such a drastic fluxuation?? in the amounts I am paying... YAY!!!!

Use the vegetables from my garden and learn to preserve.
Cut down on all unnecessary things.
Free is best.
Get the garage completely cleaned out. Half done-Until BIL and SIL stored their stuff--now back to square 1.
Make the yards nice-weed, mow, plant, flowerbeds, etc.
Stay home more/eat out less if at all.

Awesome! It's amazing how easy it is to reduce once you really think about it/have an awareness!

Ours was the lowest it's ever been since we lived in this house. I was so excited, so I know exactly how you feel. Way to go on your progress!

Way to go!!!!!!
I was wondering if you could share what you are doing to reduce your electric bill. We are trying to reduce ours but we have not been as successful as you.
Any tips would be appreciated.

This bill includes my water and sewer too... I think the main reason is that the weather has been awesome!!! It has not been getting colder at night, and the temps have been just right during the day.. NO heat NO a/c YET!! I have also been keeping all lights off during daylight hours-which is until almost 8:30, and keeping the blinds open.. I have also started drying at least half of my laundry outside when weather permits. In general it is just the basic things, but I have actually been VERY dilligent on making sure I do them... One other thing is that we now only have one outside light at the porch *instead of one at the porch and at the garage*, and the one at the porch is an energy saver one. I hope that eventually we will get as many lightbulbs changed to the energy saving ones as soon as possible.
