That's around what mine was last month. I'm dreading this months bill. Darn Gulf South not catching a break on the heat and the A/C still is running too much for my liking.

248$ every month for us. We just installed programmable thermostats this past weekend. I hope this will make a difference by keeping the house at an even temperture. Last winter was rough, some rooms cold and others okay. I'm sure it makes a difference when the temp fluctuates from room to room. I'm keeping my fingers crossed cuz I really want to see this expense go down.

Our budget plan just went up again. The PSC raised rates by 7.25% two months ago and we have increased our usage. I am now at $321 a month (up from $291 in July, which was raised from $251 in May). TI cannot complain about the amount we pay. It is not too bad for the size of our house and how much stuff we keep on (7 tvs, a/c set at 69* always etc...).. If I were not on the budget plan last month it would have been over $525. If they raise our budget plan to around the $400 range, then DH will most likely ask me to start watching it a bit.

Ours was $195 this past month, which I'm pretty happy about since the temps have been in the nineties around here and there's usually at least one person home all day, everyday.

Wow. Mine was only in the $80 range, and I was thinking that was bad. I guess that Heat Pump is really doing its job.

Our budget billing was just increased from 195.00 to 213.00 per month. But, I admit that I love my a/c and have it set at 74 all the time.

Ours was $270 this month, last month was $310. Dang 100 degree days the whole month of August, even with setting the AC at 82 it ran almost non stop.

The air conditioning bill has not been bad ($125 tops)but then we have a small home and it takes a lot less $$ to run the a/c here than it does the gas heat in the winter. It may be cramped in here but at least it's affordable so far!

Mines always that high in the summertime. Sometimes more. Of course I'm in Florida, so I plan for it. It will drop in the winter months (to about $150).

Last month my bill was $406. Yep that is right $406. I turned off my ac which is always at 80degrees. This month even without ac (and it got to the 100s this month) my bill was $230. I really wanted it to be below $200 to justify the no ac but it wasn't. So now I don't know what to do.

There is a possibility that the ac was on for a few days or a week on this latest bill I guess. Now that the temp has lowered around here to below 90degrees I don't plan on having the ac on at all this month. I hang all the laundry and don't know what else the electric is going towards other than the pool. But supposedly that only costs us $30 per month to run. I don't know.

Maybe our electric is high. We pay 13.795cents/kWh then it also says lower on the bill average price paid for electric service this month: 14.1 cents/kWh.

    Anyone else want to compare?
