Insulated curtains
Wasn't really sure where to put this, but since it has to deal with keeping heat bills down I decided to put it here. When looking for inusulated curtains what do you look for? Are they all the same? Looked up insulated curtains and there are a variety of prices to pay for the same size curtains. Don't know if to go with the cheaper ones or the little bit more expensive ones, which might be better or just as good as the cheaper ones. Any input would be aprreciated. Thanks!

If you look in thrift stores, and have pretty standard sized windows, you can sometimes find really good deals there.
I'd go with the best quality I could afford, if you don't redecorate a lot.

We had insulated curtains from JC Penney. We used them when we had our old windows and they really helped a lot.
We got new windows a few years ago and we went with the cellular shades. They are supposed to help with keeping the heat out in the summer and keeping the cold out in the winter.
