    Default GRRRRR!!!!! PHONE COMPANY!!

    I tried to pay my bill online, and couldn't. They are threatening to cut off my service, when I've been making payments online, and they have been coming out of my bank account, but haven't showed on their system. Strange thing is, I've gotten verifications for every payment, which I dutifully kept, so I can prove I did it.

    So I call and their billing systems are down, so they can't help me. I can't call them back today, because I have to go to work, so I'm just hoping they don't cut off my phone before I can talk to them.

    The online system won't let me in, because they have my phone on shutoff status.

    GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Thats odd, you arent the only one. My friend said the same thing. She said she paid it online and they told her she didnt pay and shut her phone off.

    Wow! I would be ticked myself. Good thing you kept the verifications. I keep all of mine too and I double check with the bank. I hope you can get it resolved quickly.

    Who is the provider? I had this same problem with bellsouth (Now att) I have tried paying my bill for three days and it wont let me, today it let me and they are saying I have to pay a 35.00 shut off fee and my phone was never shut off. There skeeming folks I think.... I never had this problem with bellsouth before, but sence they changed over its been this the past two months... I have always paid online sence we moved a year ago.

    were calling them this week and getting ours shut off for good, I have my cell phones and also I am thinking about getting Vonage for 24.00 a month with free long distance. (anyone tried that?)
