Have You Turned On Your Heat Yet?
I live in Pittsburgh, PA and haven't turned on the furnace yet but its supposed to go down in the 30s tonight. I may turn the heat on in the morning just until the house warms up, then I'll turn it off. Unless it gets entirely too cold in here. I think the temp will be in 50s tomorrow during the day. I've turned on the electric heater a few times so far.

I live in Wisconsin. Here i have turned on the heat a couple times. I run a daycare and it has to be 67 or higher in here. At night I turn it off, sometimes we use space heater. Here it has gotten down to below 40 about 15 days though! Brr. I hate running the heat all day unless its 40 or less all day!

We had our first frost here last night, but thankfully the temp in the house has stayed at 71 overnight & all day. Not sure what's going to happen tonight. I'm hoping to make it until Nov 1st without turning it on. It's been a warm fall up until now. I usually have the heat on once by the end of September.

I have for about 10 minutes. But am not planning on unless we feel really cold, so far we've just put more clothes on or went for a walk which makes you warm.

I still have my air on, even at night. I can keep it turned up higher now, but still, it gets too stuffy with the humidity.
I won't be turning heat on until probably December.

I turned ours on last week just to make sure it still works. With my luck, it would be 30 degrees, I turn it on and it won't work. lol But it works, so thats good. It is always stinky after turning it on, so I turned it on and then opened the windows to get out the funky smell.
I keep it set at 65, and it hasn't come on. It was 66 inside when I got up this morning, but has warmed up to 73 now. Our outside temps have been 40-60ish the past week, so it has been really nice. Just a bit chilly in the mornings.Nicole, Mom of 4 ages 6-16~

Southern Saskatchewan, Canada. And the heat's been on here almost a month now. We woke up to snow yesterday morning. It's all melted now though.

I'm close to you, Jean, in Michigan's UP. We have been making fires in the woodstove, but also had to turn on the heat a little. It's been frosty! I've been wearing a hoodie to bed with the hood up.
This is our 'cabin in da woods'. We usually live in Ohio, where they probably aren't putting the heat on yet.
