Not being charged for gas??????

Well today is turning out to be one of those days. Here goes. Received utility bill. Have been turning things off and have been anticipating the lower bill. Anyway, I called to find out why the KWH charge went up. The person in customer service said it always fluctuates. Then she asked how I heat the place. I said gas. She said that she had to send someone out to check the meter since I wasn't being charged for gas. I told her I have the heat set at 55 degrees. She said it was winter and I had to be using gas.

So now I am thinking oh great what kind of huge bill will I be getting. She said if nothing is wrong with the meter I don't have to worry about it. I think the heat only comes on at night if it does. I am sleeping then..

So maybe I should not have called about the bus driver.

Right now I feel like what the heck. AHHHHHHH.

Has anyone else had something like this happen?

PS: My electric usage hasn't gone down that much after unplugging things. Not sure why.

Awe hon, don't let the bus driver thing make you feel guilty. You had to do it. I recently turned in a shill bidder on ebay. I started to feel guilty about it then I saw the seller had started selling again. Guess she only got a warning. I'm sure she was doing wrong.

I sure hope it's cause you just aren't having to use the gas and not that they haven't been charging you. You're in my prayers.

Thanks Dolphin. Right now I am waiting to the utility guy to show up. They said 8:00am - 12:00pm. So yea, will be a long wait. Just hoping nothing is wrong with the meter. But really I think I can count the amount of times it has been on on my hand this year. It probably is fine but my brain has to go the other way and think the worse. Will be glad once this is cleared up.
