    Default Question about light bulbs

I see that some of the members here use CFL bulbs. I am thinking of starting to replace our regular bulbs in the house. Does anyone know if CFL bulbs have a 3 way option? I have a few lamps that are 3 way.

They sure do. I think most bulbs have this alternative now. They do cost more (3-way bulbs are about $10 each)but in the end it evens out.

I love the cfl bulbs. There is one that is "sunlight" and it really is bright! Most of the other light bulbs made my home yellow, but these are white light.

You might like to look at LED clusters too.

They are getting brighter by the week and will probably replace CFLs in a year or two.

They will be cheaper and last even longer than CFLs.

Are these LED clusters available at stores like WalMart and Target or do you have to get them at a specialty light bulb place?

LED bulbs are still quite expensive (or at least the one's I've found-$30 a bulb)!

I believe you have to purchase on-line or a specialty store.

Just Google "buy LED light bulbs" and I will pull up a bunch of sites.
