    Default Oil Delivery

I just got an oil delivery. We got 134 gallons delivered and my last fillup was 8 weeks ago so we only used 67 gallons a month! I am happy about that. We use oil for our heat and hotwater and we also have another person living here this year.

I was shooting for 50 gallons a month but it didnt happen. I'll keep trying!

That's not bad at all, shoot I am too worried about the price of oil to turn on the heating system (oil) so we manage with portable electric heaters and the such.

You're lucky. Around here, we have a minimum delivery requirement of 150 gallons. It makes it tough to get oil when you're broke and oil is above $3 a gallon now.

We're on a no spend week because I had to get oil last week and it really put a dent in our budget.

Funny thing is the company does have a minimum delivery amount. But since we prepaid 350 gallons we had to be on automatic delivery. I did not call for the fill-up they just showed up thinking that we used way more than we really did!

Its almost a month since my oil delivery and I am happy to announce that we only used approximately 50 gallons since our fill up on Jan 7th. We also had 2 weeks where the weather was very very cold. I am quite happy about it. I also called up the oil company and told them to take me off automatic delivery and that I will call them when I need a fill-up.
