We went to the local home show this past weekend and asked a few companies what the average life span is for an oil tank they all said between 40-50 years. We are thinking of getting ours replaced since it is around 46 years old.

For anyone that has had they tank replaced do you remember how much you paid for it? I got a couple of different prices but they are all sooo far apart ranging from $1400 to $2500.
