Should Arrive at Carlsbad Caverns Tomorrow

We are in Sweetwater, Texas for the night. We've come a long way. While we were in Dallas, we went to the Sixth Floor Museum to see where Lee Harvey Oswald was set up when he shot JFK. Gave me chills. We also drove out to see South Fork... the Ewing Ranch from the TV show Dallas. We didn't take the tour, just saw the house and took pictures. The nicest rest area I've ever stopped at was in Mississippi! We've had tons of fun and loads of laughs already. I so enjoy family road trips.

we went to Carlsbad a couple years ago, and also Roswell while we were in the area. Carlsbad was AWESOME, Roswell was a huge disappointment. Enjoy the rest of your trip!

Forced Family Fun is what my teens would call any trip with me right now. But they live to look back and say WOW we had a good time. Hope it continues to go well for you. Remember to take lots of pictures to share with us.

Have fun in the caverns! Remember a jacket, seems like it's really cold down there (to the best of my recollection).

I did remember to take a jacket, thanks to you guys for letting me know it was chilly in there. The caverns were WOW!!!!!!! Beautiful. We also got to see the Bat Flight. Very interesting sight. We are headed to San Antonio, Texas, today. We've been there before, enjoyed it very much and want to revisit.

I LOVE SAN ANTONIO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is one of my most favorite places in the world to do. There is a beautiful Catholic church right next to the mall near the Riverwalk! it's breathtaking!

We came here several years ago. I've been lots of places, but the Riverwalk is my favorite so far. Almost everything here is breathtaking to me.

I just got back from Maui, but I would really like to take the trip that you are on right now. I'll have to plan on it. I love family vacations, we always have such a great time together. Great to hear that you are having so much fun!
