you know those storms that karone....

was talking about?? well, we were camping in those.
they were pretty scary. thank goodness we had a pavillion to get underneath.
i was at the campsite with our two youngest girls while dh had to run to town to get a new tent, as middle dd could not even sleep in the old one. she was too tall.
while he was gone, that's when the storms hit.
so i grabbed the girls ran to the pavillion and we played yatzee, 20 questions, drew, and told stories with other campers. even though the storms were bad, we were ok.
it stopped raining for a while, so we started dinner. well, in the middle of that, more rain came. so i stood out there with an umbrella over dh and the campfire, so that we could have ribs and fried taters with onions. they were so good!!!
the kids loved it. and dh is the very bestest cook over an open fire!!

we had a lot of fun. we went hiking yesterday. even though it was a lot of fun, i was hurting so bad when we got back.
dh is letting me have the computer all day, the girls are riding their bikes and playing at a friends house, he is playing call of duty 4 for a while and then will watch the girls so that i can take a pain pill and get some rest.

I'm glad you guys made it through the storm okay. Storms can be scary if you are in the house, let alone at the camp ground!
