Canada to Costa Rica
So is there a flight where I don't have to stay overnight in Toronto? Seems when I check Air Canada all they do is fly to Toronto, where you have to stay overnight before flying south. No offense to people in the big TO, but I don't want to waste time and money on my vacation in TO when I could be soaking up the rays in Costa Rica.
Seems to me my BIL gets direct flights from Edmonton...but obviously not with Air Canada! Anyone know what airline flies that way direct? We're in SK, so we'd have to fly to Calgary or Edmonton anyway, but that's a LOT closer than TO! And I don't want any overnights in airports or strange cities stuff.

WestJet doesn't do Costa Rica apparently. At least not according to their on-line site.

I would phone West Jet and ask, if they can't get you there they might suggest an other carrier, I know they are usually pretty good on the customer service end, and let me tell you if you are not phoning with a complaint about your recent holdiay travel they may bend over backwards, LOL. The only other option may be a charter but then you have to book the whole trip through Sunwing or some other Destination Vacation company, KACHING! Another way to investigate yourself is go to Vancouver Airports or Toronto Airports web site and look and the international departures and see which carriers are going there.
