Default Returned from ski weekend, Hunter NY

Hated it!!! Nothing to do, we usually go to Stowe VT where I can see the galleries and shop, but since we only had two days we figured Hunter was so much closer. The hotel was not what they promised-called Scribbner Hollow Inn-advertised indoor grotto style pool/ jacuzzi etc. Both were cold and filled with loud obnoxious unaccompanied children. Over $300 per night, the only good thing was that dinner and breakfast were included and the resteraunt was really good.

So sorry that you didn't have a good time. For that much money a night, you should have had them waiting on you hand and foot. At least you had good food.

That is a bummer! I am sorry to hear that. I am glad the restaurant was good.

Sorry you had such a nasty hotel. You were up in my neck of the woods, well about an hour away from me.

Sorry you didn't get your moneys worth. Did you let the Inn know of your displeasure?

My son snowboards there with his schools ski team. Over vacation Jack and Mark went to Gore & had a blast. Lines moved right along too.
