ROAD TRIP!!!!!

DBF and his sister's family have been planning a 3 week road trip to see one of their other sisters that lives in Montana. Sounds awsome! They are renting a 12 person van and a couple of their goals are the Badlands, Mt Rushmore and Yellowstone to name a few.

Well, they invited me!!!

I told them I can be pretty sure of getting the first two weeks off, but not sure about stretching my leave to three. I have it, just can't PLAN on being able to use it. We've come up with the alternative of me flying back home on the second weekend so I can be back to work by Monday.

Well, DBF's sister and brother -in -law are both high enough in the PO that they are going to try to pull strings so that I maybe could get that third week. If it doesn't happen it doesn't matter, two weeks sounds great.

DBF says only plan on helping with gas and my own food, but I'd like to help with our rooms too. He says no, but we'll see....

Anyway, How much money do you think would be a comfortable amount to save?? I haven't a clue, but I have 14 paychecks between now and then, so I need to figure out how much to save from each. Any ideas???
