Free things to do in your state
Sure some people have lots of money to spend on entertainment, I just don't know any of them personally. I am always on the prowl for cheap or free things to do and have been blessed to have a child that loves museums, science centers, etc. I think that one reason dd is so able to think and speak on lots of levels is that she's been exposed to a lot of good stuff that was a learning activity but fun too.
Anyway I found a site that you can go to and check for free/cheap attractions by state and then by city. Of course, my little town wasn't listed but then it barely is a dot on the map. Found lots of cool stuff in nearby towns though.
Hope you find something free and fun too.
