I didn't realize you were that close to Lake Huron. What beautiful spots. Can you go right into the lighthouses?

They were closed.
We're not far from Lake Huron. It's about 1.5 hour drive or so to where we were driving. We found a great place to go camping with the kids. We took them down on the beach and skipped rocks and collected some rocks for the front garden. It was just so beautiful. There was a nice park and the kids had fun playing on the playground.
I wish I had brought the camera and I definitely will when we go camping. I love lighthouses and there are a few more along the coast that I'd like to see when we go back that way later this summer. If you'd like to help support Frugal Living by Sara Noel, my syndicated column, e-mail, write, or call the managing editor at your local newspaper and ask them to publish it in print or online. Thanks for the lovely pics Sara- I am in the middle of changing my "fruit" themes in the kitchen, to lighthouses, so I am always on the lookout for lighthouse items.
