Default Non-US residents, if YOU could visit the US...

where would you want to go? We know where some people would go in Canada so how about the US?

I'd have to say a number of places to visit special friends. I'd be all over the States if I had my chance.

If I had never met anyone at fv, I'd have to say Kansas.

I'd love to go to Florida - been there about12 years ago and it was fantastic!, I'd love to go to New York but really anywhere in the US would be cool!

I've been to Seattle once on a house exchange holiday. I have a whole list of places I would love to work my way around the same way. Just have to save the money for the plane fares first then find my swap partners.

I love the Boston Cape Cod area. Another uncle and aunt and 2 cousins (good ones) lived in Bedford and I visited a few times. Bedford was a wonderful town then, and my aunt took me out to see a lot of things around there. I saw the Atlantic for the first time there and tried and loved XC skiing there as it was in winter and snowy on one visit.

I saw the place where they make cranberry glass that pretty red glass, and wished I'd bought some then as it is the only souvenir of there that I regret not getting. Usually I don't bother but for some reason the artists, the area and the glass are all tied together.

The other place I love is San Francisco. Again, artists, interesting stuff, bookstores. More jammed into a square mile or two than anywhere else and so much to see and do.

Rhonda, I think the east coast would be neat to see too.

I've thought about this thread since Kimberly posted it and I'd love to find a place that has a huge quilters convention. It would be awesome.
