Default Are you planning a vacation this year?

Where are you going? Will it be a family trip or a second honeymoon?

We haven't been on a vacation since around 1998. Maybe in a few years we will be able to take to ds somewhere....

We are going to FL in a few weeks to visit my fil & his fiancee. We are only able to go because he paid for all of our airfare as Christmas gifts, and we will be staying at his house down there, so food & hotel are taken care of.

Nice to be able to go there, but spending 9 days with my inlaws isn't exactly my idea of a vacation!

Nope, no big vacation planned. Dh is out of work, starting his own business. We're playing down debt, and might be spending $5k on IVF, so we'll be staying close to home.

We would like to go to Charleston and or Savannah but it all depends on the modular home we are getting. If my husband has to take days off during that then the only vacation we will have will be the state fair.

We hope to go to the Tampa area this spring - ds1 wants to go to the aquarium and zoo. After that we want to head down to Venice Beach to search for shark teeth. This trip will only happen provided we don't have to make an unplanned trip elsewhere.

No plans yet for a late fall trip - will depend on hurricane season.

We always go to Cape May. Every year, without fail. DH works very hard; until last week, he was working at least 65 hours a week. He says he couldn't bear to do it if he couldn't go on vacation.

We rent one big place with my family so it is cheaper than a hotel, and we are able to buy groceries at the save-a-lot near there and cook most of our own food, so it isn't as expensive as other vacation would be.

We may also go to Florida to DH's grandparents. They are getting pretty old, and we think it is important for DD to see them while she still can. She has seen them 3 times now, and we'd like to try to get there again. It would only cost us for the flight and spending money.

We rent a cabin in the moutains on the lake in August each year. We are getting ready to send our deposit in right now!! No big vacation plans though, we might also camp at the beach for a week but it depends on everyone's schedules!

No real vacation here. We usually go to NM for a couple of weeks in late July. I visit my folks, hubby goes camping with his friends. Today I was informed that we have to go see the inlaws in NE (it's been two years since we've been there). I'm not sure if we can afford both trips. I will be most cranky if I don't get to go back to NM.

Joe alway's takes one of his vacations around the week of his birthday and I will try to take 1.5 day's off work, plus the weekend so we can do something. Even if we just hang out here at least we will be able to spend some time together.

we will go to a friends cottage in Wales - its fairly cheap as we get the cottage rent free . That will probably be our only holiday except a couple of weeks in July to go to England and see mum

We are going to try to take one in late spring or early summer for our 10th anniversary.

We will be visiting my sister in NC, hopefully this spring. We may go with my parents and grandparents somewhere this fall but that's still up in the air.
