You know that Pepto Bismal commercial? The one where they are doing the funky dance?
Well I got to see it first hand on our vacation. (not a pretty sight, actually) Gripey was sooooo sick the whole time we were gone, I felt so darn bad for him. He started saying that he had a bit of a "scratchy" throat on the way to the airport in the middle of the night (well 3:30 a.m. is the middle of the night, right?). We get to the airport and he says his throat is getting more sore. Our first leg of the trip was Albequerque. When we get on the ground there he says he's sick at his stomach. Oh boy, was he ever. Pepto bismal here he comes. Except it wouldn't stay down (or in...
). He had the bone crushing shivers on the plane (the stewardess wanted to ask if we'd been to Asia recently I know she did). He got sick a few times on the plane but made it to the bathroom everytime, thankfully. He was very sick by the time we got to the Baltimore airport and hooked up with ds and ddil. He was so sad too.
He stayed in the room in the bed the first evening but after that he wouldn't hear of it, even though he was still feverish and aching all over. So if there's a huge flu outbreak in the D.C. area I think I may know who patient 0 was

I hope he's feeling better now. How horrible to be that sick on a plane. Every time I try to use the restroom on planes, I need to wait, so adding that stress to it all would be horrible.

Thanks everyone. He is a lot better now. Thankfully the stomach aspect of it only lasted the one, long, horrible day. He slept all afternoon yesterday and is much better now.

I am glad he is feeling better. That had to make his vacation miserable. Poor guy!
We have had that same bug moving through our house for the last two weeks.~*Michelle*~
