Free Dinner and a Show for Me!!!!
I just had to share that I got to go to Philly last night and see a play and have a very nice dinner. My daughter-in-law's mother had tickets given to her for the play"On Golden Pond". They had a extra one and invited me. It was awsome! We were about 8 rows back from the front. We went to dinner at this cool place called the "Melting Pot". My daughter-in-law paid for that.We all had such a nice time. I really enjoyed having a night out with the girls. It was so nice to get to know my daugher-in-law's mom and sister better. It's kinda funny because I saw that the play was playing and thought it would be nice to go. All I could think about that it would cost too much and here I got to go for free!

A great time, time with the girls, and free (!) sounds like bliss to me
~48 yr. old sahw, livin' it up in our empty nest, smack dab in the middle of everywhere.~

Wow, sounds like so much fun.
My mother and I used to go to the local high school plays, I really used to enjoy that and those young kids are really good. Might consider this if your looking for a frugal evening and want to see another play soon.
