Home from the cruise
We got in late last night (around 11:30). We decided to go ahead and make the 13 1/2 hour drive in one day b/c our friend (the wife of the couple that went with us) needs to get back to work tomorrow.
We had a wonderful time even though the weather was less than perfect. We had clouds and cool temps most days and rough seas on 3. We managed to salvage the time though, spending long hours playing cards in the solarium (the indoor pool area), EATING
and shopping. The dh of the couple that went with us wasn't doing well at all when we got to the ship and had to spend 2 days in the room recovering. He also didn't do well yesterday, but we just stopped frequently and got out and walked around, etc... . I'm so hoping he recovers with no lasting after effects.
Glad to have done it, have wonderful memories that will last us a life time. The wife of the couple needed the vacation (she has so much on her shoulders right now, but handles it with so much grace and dignity) and truly had a great time. We've got lots of great pics of the 4 of us together which is nice too.
Now, I'm off to get my poodle from Mom and Dad, have a visit with them and then come home to workout (which I'm actually looking forward to
). I've missed you all, looking forward to catching up around here.

Hi Lisa, glad to have you back and that you all had a nice time. Wishing your friend better health and so glad they both were able to come with you.
I know a sweet little poodle who is going to lick you to death. Do your workout but take your time with the laundry etc. Need to ease in slowly.

Welcome back Lisa, we missed you! I'm so glad you enjoyed your cruise. Did your friend get sea sick? If so I do feel for him cause I've been there and it's just horrible. Hope he recovers soon. Can't wait to see the pics you took.
