Oh I remembered another place as well. Don't know how far up north you are but there is this small town called Trinidad in Humboldt county. There is a harbor, a tny one, and it's the best place to watch a sunset from. You here the boat bells going ding-dong and it is BEAUTIFUL!!

Mirai, Where abouts in N. Calif are you? I am in northern calif too, but would like to think of places that may be close to you. How far away from home are you looking for? There are so many options in the mountains and at the coast.

We were in CA last summer, we went to the Redwoods Forest. Awesome! If I remember it right, San Francisco is in Northern CA. I love going there but wouldn't want to live there because of traffic and lots of tourists...LOL

But for me, San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge is a must see when you travel over there. The Bay Area is also beautiful.
