Where would you go?
I know this has been discussed before but the warmer weather has made me want to get out of the house and plan a vacation. I've been using Gusto.com www.gusto.com to plan my dream vacation. I just can't stay away from this site. I'm not really much of a traveler and with DH being in college, we don't really have the funds. At least it doesn't cost anything to plan your dream vacation.
Someday it WILL HAPPEN.
I'm thinking my vacation would include seeing the great wall of China and the Terracotta soldiers. Where would you go if you could go anywhere?

~Egypt. I can't imagine it ever happening though. Too dangerous for me. More realistically I'd like to do the corny drive-across-US-with-a-travel-trailer thing. See all the parks and monuments and natural wonders.~

I want to drive across the US too
I don't think it's corny at all. We live here and we should see what our great nation has to offer. I want to say I visited all 50 states someday. I can cross about 10 off my list right now. My fiance and I are planning on a cross country trip as soon as he finishes grad school. I am hoping this trip will take place in about 3 years
It will be a nice finish to 5 years of financial struggle to get him through school!

My husband and I have drove across the United States except for the west coast states. We have done this twice and he wants to do it one more time. We had an absolutely wonderful time. We did it gypsy style we never knew what routes we would take. We would be going down the road and see a sign about something and off we would go to see it. We have been to Mammoth Caves, Yellowstone which was magnificent, Mt. Rushmore just to name a few. I would recommend this to anyone. My husband just came back from his 4th trip to northern China and he has been to several other countries but he loves traveling the US. It is a magnificent country and has wonderful things to see and wonderful things to do.

I'd go back to ireland and at the same time tour Great Britain in general. But I want to wait until DS is much older to do this.

We drove through the country (CA to VA) two years ago -- never again!!

I definitely want to see North America, from Alaska to Texas and everywhere in between. I'm Canadian and I haven't even been to the Maritimes yet! I hate hot places, so most of the places I want to see are temperate: Great Britain, Europe, etc.

I have never been out of the US, so the traveling I have done has been minimal to some. We did however take the route 66 trip last year. That was so much fun. We took side trips on the way to Branson, Mesa Verde just out of Cortez (CO), the Grand Canyon. I highly recommend it! I've been to Hawaii several times also and never get tired of it either. My goal is to see all of the 50 states also. I'm getting there....I think at last count I had been to nearly 35 of them!

For me the dream trip is Bora, Bora, Fiji, Tahiati. I'd love to stay in the grasshuts over the water with the glass floors. I'd want to go by small boat from one little island to the next.

I'd really like to go back to the resort in Jamaica where DH and I got married. We're hoping to do it for our anniversary next year.

I have only been to a few places. I think that the place that I would like to vist would be somewhere in Hawaii. But really couldn't afford to plan a family vacation there. But I am planning a family vacation to Destin Fl for next summer.
