    Default Flying to California tomorrow!

    I can't wait until it is time to go!! DS#2, DS#3, and I are flying to California tomorrow. Our first stop is to pick up DH who is there on business. He is 90 miles from our destination. So, we will rent a car and travel to San Diego. I won't be able to sleep Wed. because of the anxiety of Thursday activities. Thursday we will get to see DS#1 who has been at MCRD in San Diego for Marine boot camp. I can't wait to watch him graduate on Friday. It has been a long time coming. He was suppose to be there for 13 weeks, but he dislocated his knee right before the final PT, was placed on crutches, and couldn't pass. He was placed in PCP (conditioning platoon) and was he recovered, he was able to continue. It will be 17 weeks since he first left. I am just glad that after all he went through that he stay focused and determined to finish. I can't wait to come back and tell everyone that he is a Marine, and not a recruit anymore!

    UPDATE~

    It was wonderful! I wouldn't have missed it for the world nor for any amount of money! It was priceless! I still remember the first time I saw him. OMG! I was all excited and shouting, "I see him! I see him!" I don't know how I managed to film the whole 2 days.

    DS#2 and DS#3 loved flying! They said they want to start flying to our vacation destinations from now on instead of driving. I worried for nothing. I thought they would be afraid to get on the plane. DS#3 was a little nervous, but DS#2 was such a big help. He made DS#3 laugh so much that he forgot about his fears.

    We are now home and have our new Marine with us until next Tuesday. Then he will head back to Camp Pendleton for more training, Marine Combat Training.
